Despite its checkered past as an adult theatre, the Mayan continues to be in the cultural zeitgeist thanks to appearances in iconic films and TV shows including GLOW, Rock ‘N’ Roll High School, and The Bodyguard and its over the top, immaculately preserved lobby.
